Why is it that we are so obsessed with the appearance? We have a tendency to think of beauty as something that should be celebrated in all aspects of life. But what does this mean to us? What does it mean for our society? How do we know if someone is beautiful or not? What does beauty mean to you?
I believe that there is no such thing as perfect skin, hair and eyes color or body shape. We all have flaws and imperfections that make us human. What if we looked at beauty from different angle? Beauty is not just about looking good. It’s also about being happy and healthy. It’s about having the right amount of self-esteem and confidence to be in order to feel good of yourself. It is about being able to express yourself without fear of being judged. Wait! “I am not saying you should never try to change your appearance but I am saying that you need to be comfortable in your own skin and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise” Venus says. It is mean that you have to be willing to takes risks, be open minded and not afraid of failure. Also, is important to accept yourself for who you are, not what others think of you. You need to love yourself unconditionally and be able to forgive yourself for the mistakes you’ve made and move on to the next steps.
In a way, beauty is about how we see ourselves and how we perceive the world around us. When you look at beauty in a different light, then it becomes clear that there are many more aspects of us that make up who we are than just our physical appearance. If we all had a little bit of confidence in ourselves, then maybe the world would be a better place.
Does beauty matter? To me, it does. We all have a part to play in the world. Therefore, start today to begin the journey!
